xD In this moment, it most certainly was a leap of faith.
This was taken on my trip to Cancun when we were on a mini excursion that did ATV riding on the beach and brought s to this beautiful place were we could, if we wnated to, jump off the cliff into the water.
And when he said that, I was like "hell yes!" because I am a MAJOR adrenaline junkie but prior to the jump, I was like "Oh God, hell no, abort mission" xD
But it was an describable experience, and I loved it in the end. This is just a warm up jump however, since I plan on jumping out of a plane on my 18th birthday (well, I have to wait until the summer since I'm actually jumping with one of best friends on her 18th b-day) Good times!
Aww They really aren't that bad. But I'm not even afraid of heights really, and my nerves got the better of me. Maybe though, if you had someone to jump with that was also scared, it could be something to overcome together and it wouldn't be as scary But it would be best to learn to swim before hand if you ever change your mind.
Ahh!! No don't die on me!!!! *throws a life-jacket to you and goes out on rescue boat*
Yea.. First I have to learn how to swim. People have tried to teach me but I cant seem to grasp it. I must be made of metal or something, I get in water and I just start sinking. Combine that with my fear of heights and doing what you did would be a death sentence for me. So all I can do is stand on dry land and give you two thumbs up for what you did.
Oh gosh, that's weird. Hmm I don't know, you must be made of metal then Oh well I guess it's just not meant to be then.
I don't worry about it. I like to act all fearless with the suicidal stunts I pull, but in fact I am a huge baby about stuff like being alone in really dark places, and oh God, don't even get me started about ghosts and horror movie. I hate them!! My best friend and I debate about ghosts being real or not, and even though I'm on the fence, I am TERRIFIED of ghosts and the thought that one could possess me (Thanks a lot Paranormal Activity -.-)My friend's still trying to get me to go with her to this proven haunted house her mom's friend lives in.The ghosts have been said by an official to be friendly and harmless, but..... me thinks otherwise.
Interesting. See, I can't do that. I just act like a baby all the time. I'm a wuss. Not very Snow-like I know... I like to be safe and sound all the time. You have a fear of the ghosties eh? Is there any particular reason why? But I don't blame you, I don't like horror movies myself.
xD No shame in that at all bro Everyone wants that. And hey, what's wrong in letting your Hope-side show?
Ahhh my phasmophobia xD (Not sure if I have a phobia, but I scared beyond hell of ghosties) Ya know, I'm not really sure if there was one particular occurrence that did me in.Naturally, I tend to be rather on the jumpy side (you should see me when I play video games when foes come out of NOEWHERE!) I kind of think my fear just comes out of the fact that I have a very over-active imagination and it sometimes gets the better of me. And for some reason ever since I was little I've had the fear of demons stealing my soul O.o Strange and kind of morbid but sadly the truth. Actually no, wait, I started having that fear the first time I watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Snow White (of all movies I know, but something about them freaked me out when I was 5 xD)
Oh, and spiders! Not so much the little ones, but tarantulas. Oh God they scare me so much *hides under covers*
Okay good, that makes me feel a lot better Kevin. Everyone I go to school with is in love with horror movies and I fail to understand why.Even my little sister xD I always think that what happens int he movies will happen in real life *sigh*
Hmmmmmmmmmm that makes sense. You think to much into noises and shadows moving. When in reality its just normal stuff. I wouldnt worry about it, its your body's natural fight-or-flight reaction. I'm not too afraid of spiders if they're in my way I'll kindly dispose of them, but if they are out of the way I leave 'em alone. Better leaving them alive and having them killing mosquitos.
People enjoy the adrenaline rush from movies like that. I don't. I get my thrills cheaper; gaming. That makes my blood run hot.
*sigh* well that's comforting then. My imagination is glorious when I want it to be, like when I'm writing or something, but in times like when am in a creepy dark place and I think their are swarms of bloodthirsty ghosts, it is SUCH a pain in the ass xD
Me too. I either let the spiders go about their business or have my mom take it outside for me I hate killing insects just because they freak me out,(well except those the evil vampire insect pests that ruin my summer xD) Like I said though, it's the spiders that are too big and hairy for their own good that scare me.
Oooh yes! I concur 100% See, we know where it's at.
xDD it was rather terrifying, not going to lie at all. I contemplated backing down...but people were watching, and I have a reputation as a crazy adrenaline junkie to keep up! Plus it was on my bucket list
Glad you had a good time though!

I would be far too terrified to jump like that, but seriously, kudos to you for having the bravery to do it
